Instructions for contributors

This wiki is available for editing by any member of the public and we would like your help to build more content. To edit, all you have to do is register your free account. After that, if you see any page that needs to be improved, click the "Edit page" button and fix it for us.

There are two pages that are particularly in need of updating:

  1. Personal health records for researchers lists papers about personal health records and needs a review of each of these papers
  2. PHR vendors lists companies that provide personal health records software and needs a description of each company

Adding your review

Step 1. To add your review or description click on the name of the paper or company. In the screenshot below you can see the companies that need further details because their name has a dotted underline.

Step 2. Click on the name to see an empty page.

Step 3. Click anywhere inside the text "This page has no content. Enrich Personal Health Records (PHR) wiki by contributing." to start editing the page.

Step 4. Attach a template to the page by clicking the Template.png button at the top.

Step 5. Choose the correct template. To describe the products of a PHR company, choose "PHR product", and to review an academic paper, choose "Review of paper".

Step 6. Click "insert template".

Step 7. Start filling out the template.

Step 8. When you are finished, click the Save.png button.

A note about copyright

All the content on this wiki is under a Creative Commons license that lets other people reuse the work as long as they mention the original author and provide the content using the same license. Please do not copy and the work of others and paste it into this wiki without their permission. Plenty of sources have the same license that we do, e.g. the Wikipedia, and open access journals, but for those sources that do not, check with the copyright owner first. Sharing is good, but stealing is bad.
