Our security

Our privacy architecture is patient-centered: after first registering, the patient is the only person who can access his or her records, and then grants access to others. The security architecture in built on top of the NHS N3 secure virtual private network with open source encryption that has been tested in the public domain for several years.

The University of Hertfordshire provided and independent report, funded by the East of England Development Agency, of our security architecture. This is available on request.
