# Purpose

This guide outlines a streamlined, high-speed deployment of Patients Know Best (PKB) to support remote care delivery, reduce face-to-face contact, and ensure critical communication between healthcare professionals and patients.

# Core Objectives

Focus on these immediate priorities to launch PKB at speed and scale:

- Mass patient registration
- Staff access and onboarding
- Digital-first communications
- Remote care tools (Questionnaires, Test Results delivery, Messaging)
- Deployment of static care plans and educational resources

# Key Deployment Workstreams

### 1. Information Governance (IG)

- Start immediately: IG sign-off can occur in parallel to deployment.
- PKB IG team available to support meetings, documentation, and approvals.

### 2. Record Creation & Integrations

- Rapid record creation: Mass upload from PAS/EPR via CSV extract.
- Integration: Enable automatic flow of test results and appointments to PKB.
- Use our open API and published data model to start immediately.
