An average patient journey of about 23 miles is also avoided annually, saving approximately 44 tonnes of CO2e. Patients are empowered to take control of their health. By avoiding hospital admissions and lengthy outpatient appointments, patients save time and reduce stress. The service saves around £232,320 per year by avoiding hospital admissions.
