# Decision Support Tools

NHSE has created these decision support tools and has been developed in accordance with <u>[The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence standards framework for shared decision-making support tools, including patient decision aids](https://www.nice.org.uk/corporate/ecd8)</u>. 

PKB has converted these decision support tools into digital, editable and shareable care plans for people to access when making decisions about their care. The benefit for patients having them in their PKB is that they can access them at any time and share them with whom they need to. They can also edit the plan as and when needs or decisions change.
