This integration allows patients to use their NHS login credentials to authenticate and access their PKB record. To ensure the highest level of security, PKB requires a High Level Verification (P9) from the NHS login service. This means a patient's identity has been confirmed at the highest level of verification e.g., via photo ID and a face scan. This integration aims to empower patients by giving them more control over their health information and facilitating better communication with healthcare professionals, all while maintaining the highest standards of security. # How PKB, The NHS App, and NHS Login Work Together PKB, the NHS App, and NHS login interoperate to provide patients with secure, streamlined access to their health information and NHS services. ![image](media://273291de-c222-4cfe-8212-09c0a54e3276) # Key Benefits Integrating PKB with the NHS App and NHS login improves patients' access to and management of their health records, enabling a more seamless experience. # Current Status and Rollout The integration of PKB with the NHS App is being rolled out regionally across England. It is currently available to users in regions where it has been specified as the Patient Held Record (PHR) provider. From May 2025, the rollout of the GP data integration allows patients in England to add their GP information to their PKB record via NHS login.
