# Use of ORU R01 Messages

PKB supports the use of ORU R01 messages for:

The specification for these two uses of an ORU R01 message is **sliced on MSH-3**:

When sending a Radiology report you must ensure that and **MSH-3 value of "RADIOLOGY"** is provided as this will ensure the message will be processed on the basis that it contains a radiology report.

Failure to provide this value as specified will result in the message being processed on the basis that it contains laboratory test results and measurements.
